We dropped off Brooklyn earlier to stay with her cousins at Gamma and Gampa Hein's house, so it's just me and the Giggle Girl!!! Hehe!!

Little Reminders
"It has been a really good day so far. Yesterday, not so much! I have come to learn that I must wallow in the "triumphs" to get through all the "trials." Parenting is not easy and potty training has been the death of me, but if I can remember the good times, they will carry me through the bad. Every aspect of today has been great. I am going to need today's triumph to carry me through tomorrow's trial."
Scrolling through my past blog entries, I can across this portion of one that I wrote over a year ago. I almost want to write it on the mirror in my bathroom as a daily reminder!! Parenting two girls has its daily challenges and when they are tired, they are completely different children. TIRED or HUNGRY = parental nightmare! And many times, I have to step back (especially with Brooklyn) and tell myself just how young my girls still are. My expectations of my children, how they behave, choices they make and so forth are very high and this can sometimes lead to a very disappointed and frustrated momma. But, slowly, and with many, many, many mistakes on my behalf, I am learning to love the good days!! Just as I stated over a year ago. Our good day memories are always reminisced about, not the bad days. It's like with Aaron and I and our marriage, I don't remember the fights we've had, I recall all of the great things we have done together. God overlooks our "bad days"and continues to love us. I love my husband and children and always will, no matter how many mistakes and bad days we have.
Loving the good days makes the bad days vanish that much faster!

Welcome Back Horse Racing
We used to frequently go to the horse races at Lone Star Park when we lived in Grand Prairie and before we had kids! Ha! Before kids...!!
Anyhow, we brought our empty pepsi cans for free admission to family fun day today at the good ole horse track. We met some friends out there and had a nice time walking around, playing, bouncing, riding ponies, eating and picking which horse we thought would win. The day turned out to be very nice, windy, but nice. I'm not sure my very pale girls and I are quite ready for the heat, but SPF 100 will be added to the morning routine soon.
Brooklyn talked about riding the ponies all morning and that was the first thing we had to do when we arrived. She loved it and told me she did not need me to be beside her, she wanted to ride all by herself. So, she did, twice! Cayleigh had her first pony ride and her love for it was definitely all over her face!!

Pictures!
Our Internet has been out since this past weekend and will still be for a bit because apparently our router is bad and Verizon is sending us a new one, so I haven't been able to upload any pictures on here. So I figured I would blog from my phone and upload my mobile pictures!!
Well, and to be honest, I tend to use my phone camera on a daily basis just because its easier and always with me! I don't usually have my Canon with me these days because its too hard to manage it with two kiddos and snacks and diapers and the random dolls that have to ride in the car with us.....and the list keeps going!!

Happy Easter 2013
Easter 2013
What a wonderful and family-filled Easter this year! The Easter bunny came to visit our house and left the girls a few goodies. Church service was great and then all the Hein family gathered at Gamma and Gampa's House for lunch and an egg hunt. It turned into a gorgeous day with much to be thankful for.
