Aaron booked a surprise flight to Pennsylvania for me to meet up with "my person," Jen, who had planned a wonderful weekend away for her and myself at the Greenwood Valley Cottages just on the border of Pennsylvania and Maryland. My husband is amazing and my sister-in-law is amazing! It was a fabulous weekend! I arrived in Pittsburgh late Friday night and stayed at my brothers house, got to see my sweet nieces and nephew on Saturday morning. Then, Jen and I departed on our 2.5 hour drive mid morning. We stayed in a two bedroom cottage out in the woods where we talked for hours on end, played mah jongg, marveled in God's breathtaking scenery, listened to the rain, explored, read, fished (well, just me!) and had a chance to rejuvenate our hearts and minds! It was the best! I am so blessed by and thankful for my relationship with my "sister." She is truly so beautiful inside and out!

Such a great time of fellowship and love; I am still sad it was over so quickly. We packed up Monday morning and drove into Maryland for some lobster mac, crab cakes and fish and chips at Buddy Lou's, a hole-in-the-wall restaurant and antique shop. Delicious!!! And off I was to fly back home Monday night.
