Fort Worth Rodeo

Aaron was able to get 9 tickets from his work this year to the Fort Worth Rodeo, so both sets of grandparents came with us! It was so much fun and the girls had an absolute blast, like always.

Love these sweet cowgirls!

Fun Days Together

With the various holidays and days off from school, we have had the pleasure of doing some fun activities with the girls. One thing they loved doing was picking their own piece of pottery and painting it at a local painting studio called Cloth and Glaze. Cayleigh and Brooklyn chose mermaids and Morgan chose a unicorn. They turned out so cute!

I completely forgot to post about Brooklyn getting her ears pierced over Thanksgiving holiday. She was so excited and did awesome! B earned the privilege by reaching 100 character points and making straight A's for the first time.

A few fun playdates with friends!

A few lazy days here and there!

The kiddos and I went to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, Cowgirl Museum and Fort Worth Stock Show for MLK day. They had some great new exhibits as well as an updated dinosaur area. We went to the planetarium, had a picnic lunch and indulged in funnel cake. We are looking forward to the Fort Worth Rodeo on Monday night with both grandparents.

Christmas 2016

Very late on posting this, but I finally got my hands on some pictures and have enough time to write about our Christmas time!

The weekend before Christmas, we got to spend a fabulous day with Gamma, Gampa and Grandma Kathy (Gamma's mom) playing games, eating yummy food, and opening up gifts. It was so much fun and the girls loved the individual time spent with their grandparents. Great memories and laughs!

The week prior, we hosted a playdate where momma's and kids from our church bagged cookies for donation, collected toys and made cards for those in need.

We enjoyed a birthday party for Jesus at our church with crafts, songs, fellowship and cake!

As for Christmas, we were blessed to spend it with the de Wolfe's. We drove (as well as my parents in their own car) to Pennsylvania and stayed at my brother's house with their 4 kids. It was heart-warming and super fabulous! The kids couldn't have been better for the drive as well as their stay with their cousins. The weather was mild and Christmas morning was a sea of joy, smiles and wrapping paper! We had great food and time together, cooperative play and beautiful church service and bible studies. It was perfect!

We are so blessed to be surrounded by the best family on both the Hein side and the de Wolfe side. Praise God for your son and the reason we get to celebrate and share joy and gifts on Christmas day each year!
