Oh my word....or rather no words! Everything about our visit in Germany was beautiful! The weather was in the 60's, the entertainment was outstanding and the scenery was gorgeous. Unfortunately, Aaron was working during the days while we were there, so it was a lot of me roaming around by myself but we will return again for sure.
Day 1:
Our early flight out of London got us into Munich mid morning, so we linked up with others coming in for the Operations Summit and walked around our hotel. We then were picked up by the TTI employees and taken on a hop on, hop off bus tour of downtown Munich, followed by dinner at a great German restaurant.

Day 2:
I left mid morning to go see some of the castles in the Bavarian Alps. I arrived after 2.5 hours of travel on 3 trains and a bus, but it was well worth every minute!! I got to walk through the Hohenschwangau castle and see the Neuschwanstein castle from afar. The Alpsee and Swan lake were just beautiful.

Day 3:
I took the train again just outside of Munich to see the BMW Museum and Welt and Olympia Park.

| Olympia Tower |
The evening was a night to remember at the infamous Oktoberfest. We were VIP getting into one of the "tents" (brewery owned buildings) and experiencing the food, beer and celebration, German style! It was a blast.

Day 4:
Munich bond again where I walked around the town center and central market area, saw Marienplatz and original Hofbrauhaus, and went back to Oktoberfest to see it during the day and without the outrageous crowd.

We returned home after 6 days abroad and it was a great trip. By NO MEANS did I come remotely close to doing our visit in London and Germany justice with these two entries! Nor did my camera capture the history and beauty of these places. I was very vague in everything we did, but it was truly a remarkable experience. I am so fortunate to be able to tag along on Aaron's business trip and for us to have had this time together.
