Cayleigh's EOY Program

Sweet Cayleigh girl just finished her second year of preschool with only one more left before Kindergarten. We have seen so much change and growth in her. She by far has one of the most tender and sensitive hearts. We very much loved her teachers again this year, so that was another blessing. Looking forward to lots of activities this summer before baby brother arrives and another school year begins.

Here are a couple pictures from her EOY demonstration from Choir on Wednesday nights at our church.

Here are pictures and one video from her preschool performance. Love this curly cutie of ours!

After her performance, we met up with most of her classmates at the park for a lunch, cupcakes and a little fun time!

Ranch Beauty

Over Mother's Day weekend, the 5 of us drove out to the Ranch for a little turkey hunting. Little did we realize the amount of rainfall out there bringing on mosquito nightmare. We arrived around sunset on Friday evening and retreated to the confines of the house for the entire night. Aaron took each of us girls out one by one to see the most AMAZING star-filled night sky. It was truly a thing of God's beauty. This momma even saw a shooting star!
Morning came and there were no signs of turkeys anywhere and tons of mosquitoes under the tree that we would set up under, so we just enjoyed the outdoors and did a few chores and went fishing for a bit before driving back home that afternoon. It was nothing short of breathtaking just soaking up some of God's gorgeous scenery and spending some alone time together as a family.

Mommy and her sweet beauties!

Daisy loved fetching in the pond

Breakfast on the tailgate, of course
A quick stop for a photo op in the tiny town of Lawn

A short trip but so worth the time spent together sharing laughs, stories in the good ole' outdoors.  A favorite in my book for Mother's Day with a quiet car ride home with my favorite man!

Soccer Season Complete

Honestly, my heart was so full watching Daddy coach Brooklyn and Cayleigh the game that we both love, and now they LOVE! It was a fabulous season for both girls and they tore it up on the field! They both really are very good and so fast! Brooklyn's team went undefeated this season. We are all looking forward to the fall to start back up again.

 Brooklyn was a goal-scoring machine!

Poor Cayleigh girl had pictures after her game and they had to wait in the heat for nearly an hour! Brutal!
Not to be out-done by her older sister, this girl found the back of the goal too! And was a killer defense-men!

We ended the season with a joint team dinner and trophy distribution. Fun, fun times! Love these big girls!

Art Show

Brooklyn's artwork was chosen to be displayed at the Northwest ISD Art Show this past week. We were all very excited for her and her picture of our dog, Daisy. They used three different types of media in this particular artwork: watercolor, construction paper and crayons. Nana and Papa and Gamma drove up to support Brooklyn and see her work at the District Building. It was a neat experience!
Way to go, B!

A special night with B led to a special breakfast the next morning at her school. It was Muffins with Mom with my awesome Kindergartner! I feel so blessed that this sweet angel calls me "Mommy!"
