B's Dr Check-Up

Brooklyn had her yearly well visit at the pediatricians this week. Everything went well. The doctor did say that she has a small concern about the right side of her spine, so she made note of that and we will revisit it each year to be sure its not getting worse (sign of scoliosis).

She weighs 57 lbs (78th percentile), she is 50.25 inches tall (85th percentile) and her BP was 114/73. Resting heart rate was 70, vision 20/20 and she passed the hearing test. She got her flu shot and we are thankful for a healthy report. B also lost another tooth on the bottom last Thursday. Mommy pulled it right out.

1 Month Old

Aaron and I said it to ourselves the day we arrived home with Zach; "Before we know it, he'll be a month old and then, a year!" No joke! We knew it and it has flown by. Our handsome little man turned a month old on Sunday and he is doing great so far. He seems to be filling in nicely, although still a peanut. He is a fabulous sleeper and loves to listen to his sisters talk to him. Another month will race by and he will have his 2 month well visit with the pediatrician.

Brooklyn Turns 7

Our oldest is getting old! We so love watching her grow and brighten us and others with her compassionate and giving spirit. Over Labor Day weekend, we celebrated Brooklyn turning 7 with a pool party with family and friends. It turned out to be a gorgeous day and such a fun time! We enjoyed yummy chicken salad sandwiches and delicious red, white and blue cupcakes by Nana.

We also had a birthday dinner with just us and grandparents. B wanted to eat at Cheddar's with Nana, Papa, Gamma and Gampa. And oh my did Brooklyn enjoy her birthday dessert (that we all ended up sharing)!
